The IISH World Economic History dataverse is an extension of the ERC-funded research project on the historical dynamics of industrialization of Northwestern Europe and China, supervised by dr. Bas van Leeuwen and hosted by the International Institute of Social History (IISH). It was extended by the Quantitative Economic History of China Series and various other projects on economic and social development from a global and historical perspective.

The dataverse is currently managed by Bas van Leeuwen (International Institute of Social History) and Robin Philips (Utrecht University).
